I sent my waders in for a warranty repair, and to be fair, they did fix them. I just expected the process to be a little smoother and faster. Updates were slow, and I had to check in twice to see what was going on. Overall, the repair was fine, but the communication could’ve been better...

I ordered a pair of Simms waders from Simms, and overall they’ve been really comfortable on long mornings out. I’ve been able to move around on rocks, crouch, and kneel without feeling like I’m stuck in stiff plastic, which makes a big difference when you’re out there for hours.
The only thing that threw me off a little was the sizing. It felt a bit odd at first and took some getting used to, so that’s why I’d call them more of a 4-star pair for me. Still, once I got past that, I’ve been happy with them, and they make me feel more relaxed and comfortable on the water

The gear itself is good, but the prices feel way too high for what you’re getting. What bothered me even more was the way I felt talked down to when I asked a couple of basic questions, like I should’ve already known everything. Just didn’t leave me feeling great about the whole experience.

I was surprised by how well this fit. I checked the size chart before ordering, and it was pretty much spot on for me. No weird guessing game, which is kind of ridiculous in the best way.

I wore this in wet weather and stayed dry the whole time, which was the main thing I cared about. What surprised me was that I didn’t end up overheating or feeling sweaty underneath either. From my experience, it does a solid job of keeping rain out while still letting enough air through

These waders felt really solid when I first got them, and I liked the overall quality at the start. But after just one season, they started wearing thin, which was disappointing. They’re not terrible by any means, but it feels like something preventable with a little more durability built in. I just expected them to hold up longer.

I had a question about sizing and they got back to me the next day. I guess I was probably overthinking it a bit, but their reply was helpful enough and cleared things up. Not instant, but it got sorted...

My package ended up arriving later than they originally said it would, which was kind of frustrating. The tracking barely updated the whole time too, so I was just sitting there guessing where it was (not exactly helpful). It did eventually show up, but the shipping experience could’ve been a lot smoother.

It kept me kinda dry for most of the day, which was nice, but the cuffs started to get a little annoying after a few hours of fishing.
